About Landry's Triathlon Group

Landry's Triathlon Club is dedicated to the educational pursuit of triathlon, general physical fitness, and the representation of triathlon sport within the community.

We are a diverse group of athletes, ranging from first timers to seasoned veterans. Our attitude ranges from "I live to race" through to "I like the way training makes my butt look" (most of us are somewhere in between). We aim to be inclusive and especially during the triathlon season, hold training sessions relevant to all three disciplines on a weekly basis (for a summary of our 2007 season see 2007 at a Glance.doc).

During the off season as a group we are less active, but we are working at ways to keep the momentum rolling.

New members are always welcome to join Landry's Triathlon Club. Tri-Club members receive these benefits:

  • Training group
  • Special club events and parties
  • Tri-Club uniform at special price
  • Discount on equipment at Landry's store: 5% off new bike for racing in triathlon events; 10% off cycling accessories. (Tri-Club discounts don't apply to merchandise already on sale.)

Landry's Triathlon Club has an annual membership fee of $25. Membership is valid through April 30, 2008. New members can join the Tri-Club anytime; membership applications and renewals are due by April 30th each year. In addition, we recommend that you become a USAT member if you are not already.

To become a member register at BikeReg.com or fill out an Application Form and bring it to any Landry's loctaion with payment. Once we have received your paperwork and dues, we will send you a membership card that you can use to access your store discount.
